Abstract watercolor pencil drawing/painting on 9 x 11 watercolor paper.
This was the first piece I did with watercolor pencils. I painted it the day I suddenly knew without a doubt that I had cancer, and as it turned out, I was right. It's a scary time, but I refused to cave in to gloom and doom. I held on to hope, and everything turned out better than I expected. When you enter a fearful time in your life, you have to set your sights on hope, and never let go of it. Our brain is our control tower for our body. If you send the right signals, you have a much better chance of a safe flight.
